Gemini Notebook is the new name for NotebookLM (Google renamed it in July 2026). For people who read documents for a living: how to build a notebook that answers from sources you chose, how to follow every answer back to the passage it cites, and how to turn the same sources into reports, audio, video, slides and study material you have actually checked. Every module is a bench of instruments you operate on an invented company's documents, then a field exercise on public sources or documents you invent for it.

Three belts, one habit: open the citation before you rely on the answer

White belt builds a notebook, loads sources and audits citations by hand. Brown turns sources into deliverables: instructions, reports, audio, visuals, decks, study sets and researched source lists, each one checked against the passage it came from.
